Description
Valdemar Bojesen (1837-1912) was educated in forestry and farming. He spent the years 1886-1900 in Argentina. In 1865 he married Marie Cathrine Georgine Dørr (born 1835). Their daughter Anna Henriette Frederikke Bojesen (born 1870) married Erik Fischer in 1890. Erik Fischer's brother, Paul Fischer painted Valdemar and Marie Bojesen in 1907, and the paintings were also seen on a family portrait of Erik Fischer's family from 1912. The three works were sold in the same lot. See "Other versions".
