Description
Bahasa Indonesia: Sebuah patung Butho Ijo berdiri tegak di pantai Petitenget dalam acara Festival Petitenget yang diadakan tanggal 14 - 16 September 2018. Butho Ijo, dalam agama Hindu Bali merupakan raksasa yang dipilih oleh Dang Hyang Niratha (pendeta Hindu) saat turun di Petitenget pada abad ke-15. Namun, jiwa gelap Butho Ijo mengakibatkan setiap orang yang dekat disekitarnya akan sakit. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, Dang Hyang Niratha membangun sebuah Pura Petitenget di pantai Seminyak, lalu menyucikan Butho Ijo. Kemudian Butho Ijo diberi mandat untuk menjaga wilayah Kerobokan. Ikon Butho Ijo inilah yang menjadi Ikon Festival Petitenget 2018, dimana budaya Bali diharapkam tetap terjaga dan memberi dampak positif bagi masyarakat dan wisatawan.
