Tropical Storm Patty formed from a tropical disturbance that was originally expected to dissipated before any development could occur. Due to finding a small window of opportunity for developing between a high pressure system and a cold front, the tropical disturbance gradually organized an became Tropical Depression Sixteen on October 11. Sixteen became Patty a few hours later. |
