Food served to guests at a simple village party.

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Tea, Soda and Mandazi is the most common type of food used in welcoming guests in a simple village party in Kenya. People are very generous and the whole village will usually gather at the celebrating home. They mandazis will be placed on one plate where guests will share and enjoy in groups. Soda and Tea hardly misses in any such parties as Church Members Gathering at a members house( locally described as Mkutano) or Roracio- Kikuyu/Koito-Nandi where a man's family visits a girl's family to officially make there engagement known.
