Parthénon. Reconstitution du fronton ouest. - Le fronton ouest du Parthénon est globalement mieux conservé et mieux connu que le fronton est. Cette reconstitution de la dispute de Poséïdon et d'Athéna pour la possession de l'Attique a évolué grâce au travail minutieux réalisé sur les moulages (musée de Bâle et centre de recherche de l'Acropole d'Athènes) ces quarante dernières années.
