Description
Parthénon. Plaque de la frise des Panathénées, côté ouest.15 - Plaque XV, n°29 ; plaque XVI, n°30. Au-devant d'un cheval, un cavalier a posé son pied gauche sur un rocher afin de rajuster sa sandale. Il regarde en direction d'un autre personnage qui clôt la frise ouest. Celui-ci est figuré en pied, avec une chlamyde sur son bras gauche, et fait pendant au personnage n°4 de la plaque III.
