Description

O Parque dos Poetas é um projecto da Câmara Municipal de Oeiras que pretende homenagear a cultura portuguesa. Foi inaugurado em Junho de 2003, proporcionando um espaço de lazer, de cultura e de desporto, procurando cruzar a poesia e a arte dos jardins. Tem jardins, alamedas, parque infantil, fontes, parque de merendas, anfiteatro ao ar livre, entre outras possibilidades a descobrir. Estão representados na primeira fase os seguintes poetas: Carlos de Oliveira, Camilo Pessanha, Teixeira de Pascoaes, Mário de Sá-Carneiro, Florbela Espanca, José Gomes Ferreira, José Régio, Vitorino Nemésio, Miguel Torga, Jorge de Sena, Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen, Natália Correia, Eugénio de Andrade, Manuel Alegre, Fernando Pessoa, Alexandre O'Neill, António Ramos Rosa, David Mourão-Ferreira, António Gedeão e Ruy Belo.

Em Abril de 2010 foram iniciadas as obras da 2ª fase do Parque dos Poetas, e em 2013 foi aberta ao público a parte B da 2ª fase do parque.
