Description
English: Folios 1b-2a - Psalm 1 - ‘Happy is the man that hath not walked in the counsel of the wicked, nor stood in the way of sinners, nor sat in the seat of the scornful.’ The opening psalm is illuminated only with the first word of the psalm ‘ashrei’ and a decorative border.
עברית: עמודים 1b-2a - מזמור א - ‘אשרי האיש אשר לא הלך בעצת רשעים, ובדרך חטאים לא עמד, ובמושב לצים לא ישב.’ רק המילה 'אשרי' הפותחת את המזמור הראשון מאוירת. כמו כן ישנה מסגרת מקושטת.
