Le parc Jarry, comme on sait, est créé en 1925. Le propriétaire de la terre est alors la famille Bagg, dont le domaine est immense. Montréal acquiert une part de ce terrain pour construire le parc Jarry, mais le domaine déborde largement le parc. Au nord du parc Jarry, notamment, à l'intersection de ce qui s'appelait alors le chemin Saint-Laurent (boulevard Saint-Laurent) et la Côte Saint-Laurent (boulevard Crémazie), c'était encore le domaine Bagg.

On y trouvait un ensemble de bâtiments qui avait pour nom Park Farm. Un cultivateur occupait une part du terrain pour faire fructifier la terre. Au tournant du XXe siècle, George Wilfrid Aubin est le cultivateur en question. Il naît en 1850 et meurt à un âge vénérable, en 1932.
