Summary
[edit]DescriptionPapillary hidradenoma - very high mag.jpg |
English: Very high magnification micrograph of a papillary hidradenoma (abbreviated PH), also hidradenoma papilliferum. H&E stain.
PHs are benign tumours classically found in the vulva. They are well-circumscribed dermal lesions with cystic spaces that are characterized by papillae (nipple-like structures with fibrovascular cores) and lined by an epithelium with apocrine differentiation (as is evident by the presence of apocrine snouts).
