Description
English: Pantograph repair at Preston. The pantograph (current collector) of this electric locomotive (86421 "London School of Economics") must have been damaged en route from London, as it was taken off the head of its train on arrival at Preston by a diesel shunter and placed in an unelectrified bay for attention by on-site engineers. I doubt that such local expertise would be available today.
