English: Main gate blazoned at Manor house of the Marquis de La Valdavia. Located in the plaza of the Marquis de la Valdavia in Saldaña (Palencia, Castile and León). It is one of the most interesting buildings in Saldaña, finding integrated by the union of two large stately homes in its day, two and three heights which today form a single House, owned by the current located the Marquis, Mr. Mariano Osorio Lamadrid. This is a set with continuous renovations to a common source around the 15th century - 16th, and strongly remodeled in the 17TH and 18th centuries. Example of the bold and plastic Spanish Renaissance architecture. Highlight their noble cover, shields as a bear claw hung on one of the beams of the roof, which legend says was hunted by an ancestor of the current Marquis.
