Casa de Joaquim Ferreira Penteado, o Barão de Itatiba, recebeu o nome (Palácio dos Azulejos) por causa dos azulejos portugueses que cobrem o pavimento superior. Construída em 1878, a casa era o reflexo do período áureo do café, e já em 1908 pertencia ao Município. Foi sede do Fórum, da Prefeitura Municipal até 1968, depois Sanasa, passando a abrigar, na década de 1990, o Museu da Imagem e do Som (MIS). http://republicadecampinas.com.br/
