Description
English: "Latin Americans Spark Soccer Tearn" - Soccer is the big game in Latin Am erica. Twenty-six spanish speakin g students at Elbert Covell College launched Pacific's first soccer team in a big way with a 3-3 season. Team members include Coach Dick Davey, W alter Zamudio, Enrique Au za, Jim Stockford, Lynn Mason, Julio Sanchez, Leonidas Garcia, Zbigniew Koryzma, Ferrnando Zumbado, Gerado Copello, Pedro Mompean. Oscar Ho, Daniel Guevara, Dov Lustgarten, Rolando Arrivillaga, Erwin Guevara, Manuel Gonzalez, Ricardo Sotomayer, and Washington Andrade, Edgardo Castro, Roberto Brol, L eone! Ri za rro, Jose Canales, Roberto De Valencia. Nelson Urteaga, and Mario Copello.
