Description
English: U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Jason Choate fits a Vietnamese boy with new glasses at a medical civic action project (MEDCAP) June 13, with his mother. Pacific Partnership 2012 MEDCAPs are designed to provide medical, dental and optometry care to local residents at no cost. Now in its seventh year, Pacific Partnership is an annual U.S. Pacific Fleet humanitarian and civic assistance mission U.S. military, host and partner nations, non-governmental organizations and international agencies designed to build stronger relationships and disaster response capabilities in the Asia-Pacific region.
