Español: Emblema del Cuerpo Paramilitar de Policía Uniformada "Benemérita Guardia Civil y Policía" del Perú, Blasón institucional, ostentando el lema: "El Honor es su divisa", aprobado por Resolución Ministerial Nº 144 del 29 de diciembre de 1966. Su descripción heráldica: Escudo de tipo francés: rectangular, con los vértices inferiores redondeados y terminado en punta. Campo terciado en palo, palo en plata y los tercios diestro y siniestro en gules. Monograma institucional en palo, con las letras GC entrelazadas, estilizadas y en oro y sobre dos floretes, en oro, desenvainados y dispuestos en la forma de una cruz de San Andrés. Bordura en oro; timbrado con un sol radiante, en oro, como cimera y del cual penden dos lambrequines en sinople y ubicados en la diestra y en la siniestra. Debajo del escudo hay una orla semicircular, con bordura en sable y terciada en faja, con faja en plata y con las partes superior e inferior en gules, mostrado en la faja el mote: “El honor es su divisa” con letras en sable. |
