Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Four elementary evolutions (constant pressure, constant temperature, constant entropy, constant volume) of a gas represented on a pressure-volume diagram. When the evolutions are reversible, the integration of -p dv (in a closed system) or of v dp (in an open system) represents the work done by the fluid.
