Português: O pão francês é um tipo de pão de trigo muito popular no Brasil, caracterizado por sua crosta crocante e miolo macio. Também conhecido como pão de sal em algumas regiões, é amplamente consumido no país, especialmente no café da manhã e no lanche. Sua origem remonta à tradição da panificação francesa, daí seu nome, mas ao longo do tempo, o pão francês tornou-se uma parte essencial da culinária brasileira. É comumente utilizado para preparar sanduíches, como o clássico pão com mortadela, e é apreciado simplesmente com manteiga ou acompanhando refeições.
English: French bread is a type of wheat bread extremely popular in Brazil, characterized by its crispy crust and soft crumb. Also known as salt bread in some regions, it is widely consumed in the country, especially for breakfast and snacks. Its origins date back to the tradition of French baking, hence its name, but over time, French bread has become an essential part of Brazilian cuisine. It is commonly used to prepare sandwiches, such as the classic bread with mortadella, and is also enjoyed simply with butter or as an accompaniment to meals.
