Bahasa Indonesia: Javan Gibbon atau yang lebih sering dikenal dengan Owa Jawa merupakan primata endemik Pulau Jawa yang populasi terus mengalami penurunan akibat perburuan, perdagangan, alih fungsi hutan, dan pet. Primata dengan warna tubuh keabu-abuan, sisi atas kepala lebih gelap dan wajah kehitaman ini bahkan disebut sebagai spesies owa paling langka didunia. Owa Jawa yang juga disebut sebagai pesinden hutan ini dipercaya menjadi simbol kelestarian hutan dan menjadi model sistem sosial yang menjunjung tinggi nilai kesetiaan dan gotong-royong.Javan Gibbon atau yang lebih sering dikenal dengan Owa Jawa merupakan primata endemik Pulau Jawa yang populasi terus mengalami penurunan akibat perburuan, perdagangan, alih fungsi hutan, dan pet.
