Description
English: Overview of SIP Quality Measures Framework

Indication of SIP Silicon intellectual property Quality Measures Framework, among IP providers and IC designers (users).

  • HKSTP, which is set up by the Hong Kong government, set up a project, to develop a technical framework for SIP (Silicon intellectual property) quality measures and evaluation based on QIP metric.
  • IC designers developed their IC design, and the design can be reused by other IC designers.
  • Other IC designers do not know the quality of the design of such providers of IP cores (IP providers).
  • HKSTP can act as a judge, to evaluate the quality of IP cores of various IP providers, based on the QIP metric.
  • Other IP designers can know and choose their IP provider, based on the information provided by the third party, HKSTP.
