Like allother aerial craft, it will find one of its firstand most important uses in warfare, andwe may expect to hear of specially trainedtroops which will mount aeroplanes, recon-noiter the enemy, drop explosives on hismost strongly fortified positions, from analtitude which will guarantee safety fromhis rifles and projectiles. Steam and electricity have done wonder-ful things in the last century, both on andabove the earths surface.
