And all about are non-racingcraft of every description, often dressedin multicolored flags in honor of theoccasion, that give to the scene a festiveand striking appearance. Not the least charm of racing lies inits uncertainty and ever-changing phases.You may find a bright, sunny day, withsmooth sea and gentle zephyrs, or youmay run into lowering skies, roughwater, a howling gale, and possiblydrenching rain.
