w, I am informed, in operationto this point, and to-day one may boarda Pullman car in Los Angeles and beset down at Mazatlan without change. In spite of its importance, this is thefirst railway communication the city hasever had. Germans at presentenjoy a large share of the retail trade. A new sewer system has been estab-lished, and this, together with other sani-tary improvements introduced by theauthorities, should make Mazatlan ashealthful as nearly any of our ownSouthern cit
