En-trance from the porch is direct intothe reception hall. To the right,through a broad doorway is the largeliving room with its open fire placeand built-in book case. The dining room is directly backof the hall; it has a square bay win-dow with four outward opening case-ment windows. The kitchen is at therear corner of the plan, and is sep-arated from the dining room by alarge pantry. There is a back stair-way from the kitchen in addition tothe main stairway in the front hall. Upstairs are four very nice bed-rooms with ample clothes closets. Every bed room has cross ventila-tion, with windows on two sides. Theextra generous supply of windowsthroughout this house, both upstairsand down, stamps it as right up-to-date. This house design is one of themost attractive and popular.
