Summary

Description

Our Lady's Island, County Wexford, Ireland

English: Old St. Ibar's church at the site of the graveyard. This may have been a small cell belonging to the Augustinian abbey of Ferns. In the 17th century, it belonged to the Augustinian friars who stayed here until the arrival of Cromwell. The only surviving structure is the west gable which is to be seen here from its eastern side.
