Summary
[edit]DescriptionOughtibridge ...New Zebra Crossing Ahead ... 19th May 2008 - geograph.org.uk - 920229.jpg |
English: Oughtibridge ...New Zebra Crossing Ahead ... 19th May 2008. In June 2007, following very heavy rain, the A6102 was closed just south of Oughtibridge because of land slippage. This closure led to a diversion through Oughtibridge Centre which in turn led to problems for pedestrians crossing the road. Hence the need to install a new Zebra Crossing. The signs announcing this first appeared in May 2008 ... nearly 12 months after the road closure! 920232 920258 |
