Description Before you go to the main shrine at Wat Xieng Thong, you are invited to enter a large shed containing this ornate and jumbo sized float. Due to being at such close quarters to this overwhelming structure, I did could not note if this was a boat or a road vehicle. I had read in someone's blog that it is a boat. The shape of the base definitely seems to suggest that it's a boat. (Luang Prabang, Laos/ Lao PDR, April 2014)
