Notes: The back of the document holds the mention (in French): "Le monument de Schlüsserbourg". Schlisselburg is a town in Leningrad Oblast. This monument was erected near Oreshek Fortress, in honour to the revolutionaries who died during the upsurge of 1884-1906. Oreshek Fortress was a political prison, where Alexandre Oulianov, Lenin's brother, was executed in 1887. Description: 1 photograph. Black and white ; 16 x 11 cm. |
