Description
Français : Ordre du Mérite Commercial et Industriel (France)

Ordre créé par décret du 27 mai 1939 et supprimé le 3 décembre 1963 lors de la création de l'Ordre National du Mérite, qui le remplace ainsi que douze autres Ordres du Mérite français. L'insigne est une étoile en fiorme de rose des vents, avec quatre branches plus fines dont les intervalles sont remplis par les éléments d'une roue dentée émaillée de tricolore. Le caducée, formé de deux serpents, enserre un médaillon portant l'effigie d'une République veillant sur un bateau. Ce caducée, attribut de Mercure, le dieu du Commerce, est surmonté de deux ailes qui forment bélière. Le revers du médaillon central représente une mappemonde entourée de la légende "Ordre du Mérite Commercial".

Le ruban est moiré gris argent avec une raie verticale dorée de 3,5 mm de chaque côté.
