Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Order of St Michael and St George star. The star is only used by Knights/Dames Grand Cross and Knights/Dames Commanders of the Order. It bears the Order's motto Auspicium MeliorisÆvi ("Token of a Better Age") and an image of St Michael trampling on Satan. The depiction of a light-skinned St Michael trampling a dark-skinned Satan has become somewhat controversial, with Jamaica suspending its use.
