Summary

[edit]
Description The dome of the Oratorie Saint Joseph in Montreal is the third-largest of its kind in the world after the Basilica of Our Lady of Peace of Yamoussoukro in Côte d'Ivoire and Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome. On October 19, 2004, the Oratory held its centennial. The photo does very little justice to the sheer size and scale of this magnificent edifice. We had to satisfy ourselves with this far shot as we were running short of time. (Montreal, Canada, Dec. 2012)
