Description
English: Buffalo, N.Y., native Sgt. Lavar Johnson, 26, a field artilleryman with 1st Platoon, 2nd Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, passes out candy to children in the Grey'at neighborhood of Baghdad's Adhamiyah District, June 28. By maintaining a constant presence through dismounted patrols the paratroopers of 1st Platoon provide security to the people of Grey'at.
