Tiie water lift is so constructed that when thepressure in the soft water tank equals the ()ressure in the hard water tank, the lift willstop working and will not start again until water has been drawn off and the pressure reduced.This will be found a very complete and satisfactory outfit for country or suburban homes, orfor farmers who have a stock or dairy farm and wisii to enjoy all the advantages of modernplumbing in their homes. Where a winduiill is not desirable, the system can be operated bya hot air pumping engine or gasoline engine, and where electricity is available by an electricmotor.
