Summary

[edit]
Description
English: There was not much by way of science rationale for acquiring this footprint (outside of wanting to have coverage at HiRISE resolution of this massive, 150 km × 125 km (93 mi × 78 mi) diameter crater), but possible clays may have been detected on the southeast rim. And the view is spectacular!

Image cutout is less than 5 km (3 mi) across and the spacecraft altitude was 257 km (159 mi). For full observation details including images with scale bars, visit the source link.
