English: On Oct.2, 2001, members of the United Nations honor guard carry the remains of soldiers that were found in various places in Korea. The remains were found near Pyongyang, Unsan and Kujang counties, Chong Chon River and the Chosin Reservoir, all in North Korea. In all, there were 17 bodies discovered. The United Nations then held a Repatriation Ceremony upon their return to NATO soil. The ceremony consists of a 21 gun salute, a prayer, a bagpipe tribute and wreath tribute from the local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Cohen A.
