Description
English: Old railway bridge, Belfast The Belfast and County Down Railway mainline ran from Belfast to Newcastle via Comber and Downpatrick. It opened to Comber in 1850 and closed 100 years later. This bridge carried the North Road across the line. The section to Comber was double track. The view is towards Belfast. It is now a footpath known as the “Bloomfield Walkway”.
