| Description |
English: This milepost is on the B825 about 150m from the A801 roundabout. This style of post was cast at the Grangemouth Iron Co. in Falkirk. There are many similar posts in Stirlingshire with four in Falkirk and one each in Edinburgh and Ayrshire. They cost 31/6 each with 3 farthings for each letter or number. This post was cast without the W at the end of Linlithgow on the left face but now the post has been repainted the W has been painted on. These posts are 3ft high with a frame 1ft 6" under ground. It is listed on Canmore 331262 |
