Description
English: This free picture of an old hairdresser sleeping at siesta was created by my slippy friend epSos.de. This beautiful picture can be used for free, if you link epSos.de as the original author of the image.

Take a break, have a siesta. Or let's take a power nap! A siesta or power nap which is a short sleep which terminates before a deep sleep can quickly revitalize a person. It is used to supplement a normal sleep, especially when there is an accumulated lack of sleep.

The most effective duration of a power nap is about 15-30 minutes. Those who regularly take power naps may develop an idea of which duration works best for them. Studies have shown that napping can boost performance to a person's top levels and improve memory too.

So, stop feeling guilty when you really need a little nap at work.
