Summary
[edit]DescriptionOld Siskiyou Highway south of Ashland, OR. (10242581664).jpg |
Here is where Old Siskiyou crosses itself. Look down, that's the road I was just on. Notice the deer. Siskiyou Pass is close to 3,500 Ft. above Ashland. There were almost as many bikes as cars the day I rode up Old Siskiyou Highway, Summer of 2004. Not much traffic. Most cars take I-5 instead. Bikes were headed up Mount Ashland for an exercise ride. Several cyclists looked like they were past retirement age. Mt. Ashland is around 5,000 Ft. above Ashland. |
