Summary
[edit]DescriptionOld Oak Common Locomotive Depot auto-fitted 0-6-0 Pannier tank geograph-2951270-by-Ben-Brooksbank.jpg |
English: Auto-fitted 0-6-0 Pannier tank at Old Oak Common Locomotive Depot. The first Collett auto-fitted 0-6-0 pannier tanks with larger wheels and built for passenger work were the '5400's, which worked mainly on branches in the London Division. No. 5405 (built 12/31, withdrawn 10/57) was used on the Westbourne Park - Greenford or the Ealing Broadway - Greenford services. [One of my earliest photographs, taken in mid-winter]. |
