| Description |
English: Old Haldon Hill. Long replaced by a dual carriageway (the A38 expressway) this is the former A38 which winds down the northern slopes of Great Haldon. It acts as a sliproad down the hill, although it only provides access to a few properties before rejoining the main road at Splatford. The double lanes ascending the hill can be used, but only as far as a small car park beside 1218937. In fact, they seem to serve as an extended layby for lorries. |
