English: Old Galashiels Parish Church burial ground. This old burial ground between Church Street and Abbotsford Road contains some interesting memorials, including the family tomb of Mungo Park, the African Explorer who was killed at Boussa on the Niger in 1806. See, 712851. The small building on the right is the Scott or Gala Aisle, 712822, the sole remaining part of the Old Parish Kirk of Galashiels. The Old Parish and St Paul's Church steeple is in the background to the left.
