With numerous illustrations. Description Style [subjects] English flowers; floral; Medium / Decorative Technique: printed in colours Place of Creation - Publisher: London - Printer - Binder Object History Text [Date and publisher name]: 1868 ; London: Frederick Warne & Co., Bedford Street, Strand. Notes. x,181p., 1 plate. Book dimension: 110x166x13mm. Pink dyed paper over boards. Both sets of endpapers and pastedowns have lists of publisher’s titles. Robin de Beaumont’s notes are written on the front endpaper verso. The lower cover has titles in the series: “Useful Books for country and Seaside.” The upper cover features flowers, printed in green, red, and pink; these surround a ‘vase’, which has the title printed within it. At the head of the upper cover: “Warne’s Useful Books.” The spine has the title printed in red and green letters along its length.
