English: Treviicos-Soletanche Joint Venture employee, Greg Popplewell, holds the switch box that allows U.S. Rep. Congressman Hal Rogers, R-Somerset to push the command to the crew to start the last pile to complete the barrier wall at Wolf Creek in Jamestown, Ky., April 19, 2013. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District held a Completion Ceremony of rehabilitation work for the Wolf Creek at the Russell County schools Auditorium/Natatorium. Wolf Creek Dam is on the Cumberland River in south central Kentucky. The lake's huge water storage capability provides downstream communities with important flood risk reduction, and additional water resources supporting commercial navigation, water supply, water quality, hydropower, and environmental benefits. |
