Description
Nederlands: Dat de Boxers die momenteel bij 13 Lichte Brigade instromen niet zijn gemaakt als infanteriegevechtsvoertuig weet de landmacht wel. En ook dat de bewapening met een .50 boordmitrailleur aan de lichte kant is. Maar welke mogelijkheden heeft de zwaargewicht onder de groot wielvoertuigen bij het gemotoriseerd optreden? De eerste – net voltooide – 8 weken durende tactische omscholing mondde voor de pelotons uit in een zoektocht naar wat kan en niet kan. Om de mannen van de Bravo ‘Bulldog’ Compagnie, 42 Pantserinfanteriebataljon Limburgse Jagers (BLJ) op enkel voertuig, sectie- en pelotonsniveau vertrouwd te maken met hoe je de Boxer onder gevechtsomstandigheden inzet, is er de Manoeuvreschool in Amersfoort. Onder leiding van sergeant-majoor Remko wordt voor langere tijd een instructiegroep in Oirschot gedetacheerd.
