Description
English: Sterling silver octopus shaped chatelaine. A chatelaine is a chain or clasp fastened at the waist that held items like scissors, keys, needles, pencils, etc., anything that a woman might need around the house. This particular chatelaine holds a compact, perfume bottle, mirror, whistle, and pin holder.
