Description The OSSC, or Open Source Scan Converter, shown with the top removed. Similar to the XRGB mini, the OSSC is a low-latency scan converter mainly meant for retro video game consoles. The system turns analog input RGB or component video and outputs to a digital signal, greatly improving video from old systems on modern LCD TVs. This is an open-source project, but it usually sold as a DIY kit or pre-assembled.
