The Amalienburg is on the grounds of the Nymphenburg Palace Park, on the outskirts of Munich, southern Germany. Maria Amalia of Austria was the wife of Emperor Charles VII, prince-elector of Bavaria and Holy Roman Emperor between 1742 and 1745. |
