Description

Place des festivals, Montréal

Nuage de givre est composé de 100 000 particules d’eau, regroupées en 5 500 grappes suspendues au-dessus de la place des Festivals. De jour, les particules s’animeront par la transludité du givre. Que ce soit une couche de neige ou un film de glace, es ombres des particules qui se balancent animeront silencieusement la place. Dès la nuit tombée, des aurores boréales apparaîtront au passage des visiteurs. Les lueurs du Nuage de givre passeront progressivement du bleu au rouge au fil de l’hiver, marquant la nouvelle année aux couleurs du Quartier des spectacles. Une installation à grande échelle qui fera le bonheur des passants sur la plus vaste place publique du Quartier.
