Rariorcm casum insolitæ venæ umbilicalis in cor ipsum
inscrtionis in infante maturo et neonato, quem publici iuris
facere me accingo, Langenbenkius noster, vir celebcrri-
mus, et collega ac amicus meus aestumatissimus, mecum com-
municavit, eiusquc imaginem depingere bumanissime mihi
concessit.

Pullus iste masculus, statim post partum ex incognita
causa nece abreptus, ad legem Regiam, quae omnes, in urbe
ipsa et adiaecntibus terris extra matrimonium genitos et
praecoci morle extinctos, cultro anatomico subiicit, ad thea-
trum nostrum anatomicum adportabatur. Praeter maculas
lividas, quae mortuis inesse solent, totum hoc infantuli cor-
pusculum in superficie externa integerrimum, nec laesioni-
bus, nec quoad formam et structuram a regula deflexionibus
notatum; sed vasis eius sanguiferis cera colorata inieclis, um-
bilicalia praeter ordinem decurrentia conspiciebantur.
